In order to promote the academic development in the field of acoustics, fluid mechanics, enhance the scientific and technological innovation ability of related schools and research units, and promote the cross-fertilization of disciplines and the combination of industry, academia and research. Hosted by Dalian University of Technology, School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center, the 2022 International Academic Conference on Acoustics, Fluid Mechanics and Engineering and the 12^th Green's Function Seminar was successfully held in Jiangsu University of Science and Technology on November 26, 2022, and the simultaneous opening of the online venue, successfully concluded! More than 14 main report experts were participated in the conference. A total of about 400 people attended the conference online + offline, and the academic discussion atmosphere was strong. Vice President of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Professor Chunyan Ji attended the meeting and made an opening speech.

The conference focuses on acoustics in physics, hydrodynamics in mechanics and the engineering content involved in both, and Green's function research methods. Among them, the Green's Function Workshop is open to the public for the first time. The Green's Function Seminar (GFS) aims to provide a platform for scientists and professionals engaged in the highly specialized field of Green's functions and their applications to share knowledge, experience and opinions in an academic atmosphere with a strong and lively exchange. Initiated by Prof. Xiaobo Chen from Bureau Veritas (France), Prof. Wenyang Duan from Harbin Engineering University and Prof. Ernian Pan from University of Akron, USA, the first Green's Function Seminar was held at Harbin Engineering University on July 9, 2011. Since then, eleven consecutive conferences have been successfully held.

Experts from Dalian University of Technology, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Institute of Mechanics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Northwestern Polytechnical University were invited to give wonderful presentations in the main conference; in the afternoon Green's Function Seminar, invited experts of GFS, including the founder of the GFS, Prof. Xiaobo Chen of Bureau Veritas (France), were all present and gave workshop reports respectively.

This conference provides a multidisciplinary cross-fertilization platform for disciplinary exchange, cooperation and collaborative innovation in the field of acoustics and fluid mechanics.
